Overview: Trek to the base of Mount Jomolhari, one of Bhutan’s most sacred peaks, and experience diverse landscapes from lush valleys to high mountain terrain.
- Day 1: Arrival in Paro - Acclimate and explore Paro’s cultural treasures.
- Day 2: Paro Valley Exploration - Visit the National Museum and Paro Dzong.
- Day 3-9: Trekking Days - Start the trek from Paro to Jomolhari Base Camp, passing through forests, yak pastures, and remote villages.
- Day 10: Return to Thimphu - End the trek and relax in Thimphu.
- Day 11: Back to Paro - Drive back to Paro and prepare for departure.
- Day 12: Departure - Departure from Paro after a final cultural experience.
- $100 Daily Sustainable Development Fee (SDF): This essential fee supports Bhutan’s sustainable development and cultural preservation efforts. Note that this fee is subject to increase in the near future.
